So, this is going to be the place where I ponder how to improve my practice. A 'ponder-out' as opposed to a hang-out.
Question one
How to develop a genuine reality of student voice and ideas in my class? Not contrived or manipulated. Not faked.
Authentic and synergetic - fronting up to the demands of curriculum and national standards.
My classes have always been large and it is a challenge juggling everything and staying sane in the process. This year, my roll is smaller, which is exciting to me as it feels like I have margin to really dig into developing my practice.
Actions:
My room is ready - clean and tidy. There is nothing on the walls as I want to bring the students into these decisions and hear what they would like to have.
A questionnaire is ready for them - gathering info about all sorts of things
